1. Nature of Digital Goods & Immediate Delivery
Codevows delivers intangible, digital educational goods and software services—specifically online engineering curriculum modules, interactive coding environments, architecture blueprints, interview databases, and downloadable PDF resume generation tools.
Upon successful payment authorization via our authorized payment partner (such as Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd. or Stripe), digital access is provisioned to your registered account immediately in real time. Because these proprietary materials and downloadable assets become immediately accessible and consumable upon transaction completion, purchases are generally non-refundable once unlocked.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
To treat every learner fairly while safeguarding our platform against abuse, refunds are granted under the following explicit circumstances:
A. Duplicate / Erroneous Billing
If due to a banking timeout, network latency, or browser double-click your payment source was debited multiple times for the same single lifetime purchase, we will automatically or manually refund all duplicate transactions in full upon verification.
B. Verified Inability to Access Curriculum (Technical Defect)
If our server infrastructure or authentication pipeline fails to provision access to your account and our engineering team is unable to resolve the issue within seven (7) business days of receiving your written support notice, you will receive a 100% full refund upon request.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following instances:
- Change of mind after accessing, reading, or downloading curriculum materials.
- Lack of time, personal scheduling conflicts, or inability to complete the self-paced courses.
- Inability to secure a job or interview offer (as Codevows provides educational instruction only and does not warrant employment or income).
- Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service (e.g., account sharing, unauthorized scraping, or distribution of proprietary assets).
4. How to Request a Refund
If your purchase qualifies under Section 2 above, follow these simple steps to submit a refund request:
- Compose an email from your registered Codevows email address to support@codevows.com.
- Include your Order ID / Payment Reference Number (received in your payment confirmation email).
- Provide a brief explanation of the issue (e.g., duplicate charge screenshot or technical access error).
Our support team will verify your transaction records and respond within 24 to 48 business hours.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once approved, refunds are processed immediately through our payment gateway:
- Gateway Initiation: Handled within 2 business days of verification.
- Crediting to Account: Depending on your financial institution (UPI / Credit Card / Debit Card / Netbanking), funds typically reflect back in your original payment source within 5 to 7 business days.
- Return to Source: In accordance with financial regulations, all refunds are returned strictly to the original payment instrument used during checkout.
